About Us

SAM was founded as a Joint Powers Authority in 1976 to provide wastewater treatment services to its member agencies: the City of Half Moon Bay, the Granada Community Services District, and the Montara Water and Sanitary District. SAM also provides contract services to clean and maintain the sewer collection system and lift stations for the member agencies.
